RealTeaCRM vs BoldTrail (kvCORE)

BoldTrail was formerly kvCORE.

BoldTrail is the platform most brokerages on the Gulf Coast are already quoted for, and it is a big, capable product. The comparison that actually matters is not feature count — it is what you can find out before you talk to somebody, and what happens to a message after the software writes it.

What BoldTrail publishes

Read from their own site, quoted, and dated. If any of this is out of date, tell us and we will correct it — these are the only claims we make about anybody else’s product on this page.

  • BoldTrail does not publish a pricing page. Their own pricing article says the cost “varies based on team size, market, features selected, and whether you’re accessing the platform through a brokerage relationship or directly”, and is “confirmed through the sales team”.

  • The platform is sold in modules: a base package, with BackOffice, a recruiting module and marketplace add-ons priced separately.

What you get with RealTeaCRM

Nothing sends without a person approving it

Every text, email and social post is drafted and waits in an approval queue. This is not a setting — there is exactly one send path in the codebase and it runs after a human says go. If you have ever had an automation email a client something you would not have written, this is the difference.

You bring your own Twilio, email and social accounts

Messages leave under your identity, from your number and your sending domain, and your reputation stays yours. If you leave, the accounts were always yours to keep.

Tenant data is isolated at the database

Row-level security, not hidden buttons. An agent cannot read another brokerage’s rows even if a page has a bug, because the boundary is enforced below the application.

Saved searches and listing alerts

A buyer saves a search on your site and gets told when something new matches or a price drops. The first run records what already matches and mails nothing, so their first alert is genuinely new.

The price is on the website

Three plans, published, with what each includes. No discovery call to find out what it costs.

Recruiting intelligence from your own MLS feed

See which listing agents in your market are carrying inventory right now and add them to a recruiting pipeline in one click. It is labelled as current inventory rather than closed production, because an IDX plan does not license sold prices and we would rather say so than show you a number we cannot stand behind.

What RealTeaCRM does not do

The same list on every comparison page we publish. If one of these is a dealbreaker, it is better that you find out here than three weeks in.

  • RealTeaCRM is in beta. There are no customer counts, logos, case studies or reviews on this site because there are none to show yet.
  • There is no native iOS or Android app. It installs to your home screen as a web app and sends push notifications from there.
  • There is no built-in dialer. Tapping a number opens your phone’s dialer; there is no power dialing, call recording or smart numbers.
  • We do not sell leads and we do not run ad campaigns for you.
  • MLS coverage is per brokerage, not nationwide — you connect your own IDX feed, and Spark (Flexmls) is the supported adapter today.
  • There is no commission disbursement or accounting. Comp plans and GCI reporting exist; ledgers, QuickBooks sync and 1099s do not.
  • There is no e-signature. Compliance tracks which documents a file needs; nothing signs them.

Which one to pick

Pick BoldTrail if…

You want one vendor for lead generation as well as the CRM, you need a native mobile app your agents will download from the App Store, and your brokerage is large enough that a custom quote works in your favour.

Pick RealTeaCRM if…

You want to know the price before the call, you want everything outbound to wait for a human, and you would rather run your own Twilio and sending domain than rent someone else’s.

Questions people ask

Is RealTeaCRM a BoldTrail alternative?

For the CRM, website, IDX search, saved-search alerts and outreach side of it, yes. For paid lead generation it is not — we do not sell leads or run ad campaigns, and BoldTrail sells marketplace add-ons that do.

How much does BoldTrail cost?

BoldTrail does not publish a price. Their own pricing article says cost varies by team size, market and selected features, and is confirmed through their sales team. Our prices are published on our pricing page.

Can I move my kvCORE database into RealTeaCRM?

You can import contacts and leads from a CSV export, and imported records are owned by the person who imported them rather than being reassigned by a routing rule. Campaign histories and website content do not transfer.

What does RealTeaCRM not do that BoldTrail does?

We have no native mobile app, no built-in dialer, no paid lead generation, no e-signature and no back-office accounting. Our MLS coverage is per brokerage rather than nationwide. That list is on every comparison page we publish.
