RealTeaCRM vs HubSpot
HubSpot is a genuinely excellent general-purpose CRM. It is not a real-estate one, and the gap shows up as work: your pipeline stages, your commission maths, your listing data and your compliance checklist all become custom properties somebody has to build and then maintain.
What HubSpot publishes
Read from their own site, quoted, and dated. If any of this is out of date, tell us and we will correct it — these are the only claims we make about anybody else’s product on this page.
HubSpot’s CRM is “Free for up to 2 users. No credit card required.”

Sales Hub Professional is published at “$100/mo/seat” billed annually, and the page states the cost “does not include the required, one-time Professional Onboarding for a fee of $1,500”. Enterprise is “$150/mo/seat” with a one-time onboarding fee of $3,500.

What you get with RealTeaCRM
It already knows what a deal is
GCI, splits, caps, contract-to-close, under contract, listing versus buyer side, compliance documents per transaction type. None of it is a custom property you configure and then explain to every new agent.
MLS and IDX are part of it
Listing data, agent and brokerage websites, public property search, and the attribution and seller display rules that come with an IDX feed.
Nothing sends without a person approving it
Every text, email and social post is drafted and waits in an approval queue. This is not a setting — there is exactly one send path in the codebase and it runs after a human says go. If you have ever had an automation email a client something you would not have written, this is the difference.
You bring your own Twilio, email and social accounts
Messages leave under your identity, from your number and your sending domain, and your reputation stays yours. If you leave, the accounts were always yours to keep.
Tenant data is isolated at the database
Row-level security, not hidden buttons. An agent cannot read another brokerage’s rows even if a page has a bug, because the boundary is enforced below the application.
Saved searches and listing alerts
A buyer saves a search on your site and gets told when something new matches or a price drops. The first run records what already matches and mails nothing, so their first alert is genuinely new.
The price is on the website
Three plans, published, with what each includes. No discovery call to find out what it costs.
Recruiting intelligence from your own MLS feed
See which listing agents in your market are carrying inventory right now and add them to a recruiting pipeline in one click. It is labelled as current inventory rather than closed production, because an IDX plan does not license sold prices and we would rather say so than show you a number we cannot stand behind.
What RealTeaCRM does not do
The same list on every comparison page we publish. If one of these is a dealbreaker, it is better that you find out here than three weeks in.
- RealTeaCRM is in beta. There are no customer counts, logos, case studies or reviews on this site because there are none to show yet.
- There is no native iOS or Android app. It installs to your home screen as a web app and sends push notifications from there.
- There is no built-in dialer. Tapping a number opens your phone’s dialer; there is no power dialing, call recording or smart numbers.
- We do not sell leads and we do not run ad campaigns for you.
- MLS coverage is per brokerage, not nationwide — you connect your own IDX feed, and Spark (Flexmls) is the supported adapter today.
- There is no commission disbursement or accounting. Comp plans and GCI reporting exist; ledgers, QuickBooks sync and 1099s do not.
- There is no e-signature. Compliance tracks which documents a file needs; nothing signs them.
Which one to pick
Pick HubSpot if…
You are running marketing operations across several businesses, you need HubSpot’s ecosystem and integrations, and you have somebody whose job includes configuring it.
Pick RealTeaCRM if…
You sell real estate and you would rather the CRM already spoke the language than be taught it.
Questions people ask
Can you use HubSpot as a real estate CRM?
People do. It means modelling transactions, commission splits, listings and compliance as custom objects and properties, and maintaining that as your business changes. We have not audited HubSpot’s real-estate feature set and we do not claim it lacks anything specific — we only claim what ours does.
How much does HubSpot Sales Hub cost?
HubSpot publishes a free tier for up to two users, Professional at $100 a month per seat billed annually, and Enterprise at $150 a month per seat. Professional and Enterprise also carry required one-time onboarding fees of $1,500 and $3,500. Those figures were read from HubSpot’s pricing pages on 8 September 2026.
Does RealTeaCRM charge an onboarding fee?
No. There is no setup fee and no required onboarding purchase. The published monthly price is the price.
See it against your own book
The fastest way to judge any of this is to look at your own pipeline in it.
