RealTeaCRM vs Lofty (Chime)

Lofty was formerly Chime.

Lofty sells four packages and an AI assistant that will work leads for you. If that is what you want, it is a serious product. The question worth asking first is whether you want software that contacts your clients on its own at all.

What Lofty publishes

Read from their own site, quoted, and dated. If any of this is out of date, tell us and we will correct it — these are the only claims we make about anybody else’s product on this page.

  • Lofty does not publish prices. Their pricing page says pricing “varies based on your choice of platform package, seat count, optional upgrades and lead-gen programs”, and each of the four plans routes to a “Request Pricing” form.

  • The four named plans are Lofty Agent, Lofty Team, Lofty Broker and Lofty Enterprise.

What RealTeaCRM costs

Individual

$49 /mo

1 seat included, then $25 each

Everything one agent needs to run their book.

Team

$199 /mo

5 seats included, then $25 each

For a team that closes together.

Brokerage

$499 /mo

25 seats included, then $10 each

Metered add-ons — texting, email sending, AI — are separate and itemised on the pricing page. No setup fee and no minimum term.

What you get with RealTeaCRM

Nothing sends without a person approving it

Every text, email and social post is drafted and waits in an approval queue. This is not a setting — there is exactly one send path in the codebase and it runs after a human says go. If you have ever had an automation email a client something you would not have written, this is the difference.

You bring your own Twilio, email and social accounts

Messages leave under your identity, from your number and your sending domain, and your reputation stays yours. If you leave, the accounts were always yours to keep.

Tenant data is isolated at the database

Row-level security, not hidden buttons. An agent cannot read another brokerage’s rows even if a page has a bug, because the boundary is enforced below the application.

Saved searches and listing alerts

A buyer saves a search on your site and gets told when something new matches or a price drops. The first run records what already matches and mails nothing, so their first alert is genuinely new.

The price is on the website

Three plans, published, with what each includes. No discovery call to find out what it costs.

Recruiting intelligence from your own MLS feed

See which listing agents in your market are carrying inventory right now and add them to a recruiting pipeline in one click. It is labelled as current inventory rather than closed production, because an IDX plan does not license sold prices and we would rather say so than show you a number we cannot stand behind.

What RealTeaCRM does not do

The same list on every comparison page we publish. If one of these is a dealbreaker, it is better that you find out here than three weeks in.

  • RealTeaCRM is in beta. There are no customer counts, logos, case studies or reviews on this site because there are none to show yet.
  • There is no native iOS or Android app. It installs to your home screen as a web app and sends push notifications from there.
  • There is no built-in dialer. Tapping a number opens your phone’s dialer; there is no power dialing, call recording or smart numbers.
  • We do not sell leads and we do not run ad campaigns for you.
  • MLS coverage is per brokerage, not nationwide — you connect your own IDX feed, and Spark (Flexmls) is the supported adapter today.
  • There is no commission disbursement or accounting. Comp plans and GCI reporting exist; ledgers, QuickBooks sync and 1099s do not.
  • There is no e-signature. Compliance tracks which documents a file needs; nothing signs them.

Which one to pick

Pick Lofty if…

You want an AI that answers and works your leads without you in the loop, and you are comfortable getting a quote before you can compare cost.

Pick RealTeaCRM if…

You want AI that drafts and a person who sends. Ours writes the reply, briefed on the client and the deal — and then it waits for you.

Questions people ask

How much does Lofty cost?

Lofty does not publish prices. Their pricing page says cost varies by package, seat count, upgrades and lead-generation programs, and every plan links to a request form. RealTeaCRM publishes all three of its plan prices.

Does RealTeaCRM have an AI assistant?

Yes, and the difference is where it stops. It drafts replies briefed on the client, the deal and the conversation so far, and every draft waits for you to approve it. It never messages a client on its own.

What does RealTeaCRM not do that Lofty does?

We have no native mobile app, no dialer, no paid lead generation and no e-signature, and our MLS coverage is per brokerage rather than nationwide.
